Gravity Release Me

This will be a fundraiser for the West Boylston Arts Foundation. A group that raises money to help sustain music and arts classes for West Boylston schools. The show will be outdoors at the stage alonside the High School football field and there will be an opening band. Tickets are $10.00, but it's for a good cause, so come on out and help some kids follow in our footsteps, except Mike's, no one wants to follow in his footsteps, it's a wonder he ever got out of his teens.

Yes, that's me. This picture was taken in about 1983 at West Boylston High School, where I had graduated in 1982. This was a Spree Day and the band was CHimera, Mike was there too.
My first time ever in front of an audience was across the street at Major Edwards when I was in the 7th grade.
Hard to believe I was ever that skinny or had that much hair.

The night before Thanksgiving

Remember!! Every night with The Valves is

LADIES NIGHT!!
All HOT ladies who flash the band will be much appreciated.
(What do you win? Umm... our eternal gratitude?)
Hot men are welcome to flash Katie, but she'll probably just say "Eeeeew gross"

A Review

"The Valves are one of the best, if not THE best, R&B Horn bands I have ever amplified or even seen for that matter. The female lead vocalist ( Reagan ) has an absolutely beautiful voice and is quite pleasing to the eye as well.. and she plays Sax! Both guitar players sing and play great. Tenor sax player sings and plays great. Bass player adds any additional background Vocals. The musicianship it top notch across the board. They have all the instrumentation to make this music sound correct. So in a nutshell, The Valves can play and sing any song they want and nail it! Wonderful song list. They cover all sides of the R&B spectrum. I really enjoyed the band. Can't wait to have them back."
