In September of 2003, some e-mails began circulating between some long time musician's from the Central Mass area. Over a period of a couple of weeks, names were circulated, meetings were held, and a philosophy took shape. We all agreed that we had had enough of trying to "make it big", trying to make a ton of money, playing crappy music we all hated. We just wanted to have a good time, play what we liked and make noise. Because money wasn't an issue, the size of the band was also not an issue, and so we began looking for musicians capable of helping us make even more noise. Because commercial viability wasn't a concern, we felt we free to bring in any songs we thought we could pull off, regardless of genre.
We called it The Valves and we made a lot of noise indeed.
Unfortunately, The Valves have come to an end.
We would like to thank everyone who came to see us, sometimes many many times. We made a lot of friends out there. We will miss you all.
The recordings below are for you, we hope you enjoy them.
